God has been at work in the Bay for a long time — and He's doing something new. In partnership with the SF Bay Fellowship, house churches across the Bay Area, and the ICOC (International Churches of Christ), we'd love to help you get connected, give, and worship with us when service begins this September.

Service begins September 2026 at Cornerstone in Berkeley, but we officially launch in August 2027. We'll spend the year preparing, meeting together, forming the team, worshipping God, and doing life — and you're invited from day one.

Our story

We never saw
this coming.

Ten years ago we happened to be in the Bay, spending time with disciples we love. The baby in the photo — Caden — was five months old. Standing at the Golden Gate, we found ourselves dreaming out loud — not about plans, just about what the Bay Area could be, and the impact a place like this could have around the world as a part of the ICOC family of churches.

We weren't making plans. But God was.

Planting a church here was never our idea — a decade later, it turned out to be His. In 2026, God made it unmistakable: He's bringing us back to the Bay. Same bridge. Same love for this place. His timing, not ours. And it's on our hearts to spread the message of Jesus in this place.

For the past 19 years, God has led us to serve all over Southern California and the greater Boston area. Along the way He gave us four kids — Elle (13), Caden (10), Savannah (7), and Kevin (5) — and now He's calling all six of us to the Bay.

We're not coming to build an empire or a building. We're coming to love this place, plant a church, and walk with people toward Jesus — and we're not coming alone. A team is already praying, giving, and building toward September.

God has clearly called us to plant the Bay. Has He called you?

The $1,000,000 Sending Fund

We're not building
a building.

This is a year-one fund to plant the Bay. UC Berkeley — the #1 public university in the nation — is chapter one, not the whole story. The $1,000,000 trains and sends evangelists, church planters, and campus ministers to carry the gospel across a region of millions. Not walls. People.

We're not a traditional plant with a sending church covering the budget. We have seed money and a running start — the rest we're raising, because the mission is region-sized. And because, well… have you seen Bay Area rent? Planting where the need is greatest means planting in one of the most expensive places in America. We think it's worth it.

*2nd installment of $100,000 committed to come on January 1st, 2027 — not reflected in the amount above.
We're partnered together with the SF Bay Fellowship — a network of house churches from around the Bay Area that has committed $200,000 in seed money and its full 2026 special missions contribution toward this plant. That's the seed. You're the rest.
Weekly budget: $8,500/week covers our base — we're shooting for $15,000/week to add campus staff and use social media to advance the gospel.
